Tarbatness lighthouse
The third tallest lighthouse in Scotland at 41 metres high, this is a work by Robert Stevenson. It was first activated on the 26 January 1830.
According to Highland folklore the site of the lighthouse was used as a meeting place for witches covens and prior to that it used to be a Roman Fort.
