Grouse Butt near Riggangower
Two of the four grouse butts are in this grid square, and the other two are in the adjacent square to the north. They are all built up on the western side, and they are located at the eastern edge of a fairly flat area.
The foreground of the photograph shows the southernmost of them. Greenland Farm can be seen in the middle distance, behind its left-hand side. An exposed rockface is visible in Sheephill Quarry, to the right. The disturbed area at the extreme left is Riggangower Quarry Landfill Site. The River Clyde can be seen in the background.
