Water bus at Penarth stop
The water bus is a scheduled boat service across Cardiff bay connecting Penarth and Mermaid Quay. It is operated by two companies, both running an hourly timetable at present. The structure with the three flag poles on top is a jetty on the landward side of Cardiff bay barrage protecting the locks from waves. Of course the corresponding structure on the sea-facing side is much more massive.
