Parish Church of St Michael, Brough
Parish Church of St Michael, Brough
Parts of the Grade II listed church date from the 12th century, but it has been rebuilt, ransacked, rebuilt again and added to over the centuries to become the church it is today.

The earliest parts of the church include the 67 foot long south wall, a window in the westernmost bay of the south wall, and the main doorway, with its Norman beakheads and chevrons. Most of the church is 14th or 16th century. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
