Church of St John in the Vale

The church was rebuilt in 1845 incorporating part of an earlier church (there are 18th century memorial inside). It is in the local style with stone walls and a slate roof. Although Anglican, its interior is more reminiscent of a non-conformist chapel. it is surrounded by a small graveyard. The building is listed grade 2 (List entry number 1144527).
