This five storey Butler tower is on a farm just off the main N8 between Johnstown and Durrow, and was inhabited until 1840. The third storey has a fireplace, mullioned windows on each side, and angle loops in the south and east corners. The west side contains keyhole shaped loops at the fourth storey level, and a cross loop at the fifth. The fifth storey also has C18 windows, and the parapet above with round top merlons is also of the same date.
