City Hall was the headquarters of the Greater London Authority (GLA). It is located in Southwark, on the south bank of the River Thames near Tower Bridge. It was designed by Norman Foster and opened in July 2002.

It appears to be a myth that Robert P. McCulloch thought he was buying this bridge rather than London Bridge back in 1968. A successful businessman, McCulloch would have had enough savvy to know exactly what he was purchasing. In any event, the purchase served to put a hitherto little-known part of Arizona firmly on the map if a London media report is to be believed.
