Fancy Dress

The fancy dress judging took place in front of the County Buildings and everyone who entered won a prize or an award. The lad closest to camera won 1st for "Honey I shrunk The Stig" (see Top Gear for more about the Stig).

Wigtown and District Community Festival 2011

The annual community festival in 2011 ran from Saturday 9th July until Sunday 17th July. It included something for everyone:- fancy dress competition, chocolate making, fun fete, concert, pool tournament, folk music, pairs bowling, 10K fun run, pet show, open golf tournament, line dancing, car treasure hunt and a raft race. The event was sponsored by many of the local businesses and shops and visiting tourists had the opportunity to experience some of the local culture in Wigtownshire.
