View eastward, towards Newton Abbot and Exeter etc.; ex-GW Exeter - Plymouth - Penzance main line. This is the 06.55 Paddington - Penzance express, crammed beyond capacity but 'only' 27 minutes late - see SX7760 : Manchester - Penzance express ascending Rattery Bank near Tigley for details. The locomotives are 4-6-0 7814 'Fringford Manor' (built 1/39, withdrawn 9/65) piloting 5983 'Henley Hall' (built 10/38, withdrawn 4/65).
