Gap in Hurning Lane
Gap in Hurning Lane
Hurning Lane lies north of Dufton and is the route of the Pennine Way. The lane is continually fenced, walled and tree-lined but for one or two locations such as here where the lane is broken so that access between fields across the lane can be had, presumably for farm vehicles and the transfer of animals.
