Sighthill Stone Circle
The circle is located in NS5966 : Sighthill Park, and has been described as "the first astronomically aligned stone circle built in Britain in about 3,000 years". The project, which began in the 1970s, is not yet (at the time of writing) complete, but it is hoped that work on it can be resumed, and that the circle will be renovated and completed.

Sighthill Stone Circle
Work on this astronomically aligned modern-day stone circle began in the 1970s (see Link
for further information). In 2016, it was announced that, while the area was being redeveloped, the stones would temporarily be placed in storage before being re-erected at a new location (see Link
for updates).
