White Castle Hill Fort
An Iron Age hill fort in the Lammermuir Hills. Occupied about 2500 years ago. Currently in the second year of a 4-year project to date and examine the site - for more details see LinkExternal link. A beautiful place, with long views over the East Lothian landscape to the Bass Rock, Isle of May, the Kingdom of Fife, Traprain Law, Arthur's Seat and the Pentland Hills.
