The rock below is called the Irish Lady. The story is that a boat from Ireland was shipwrecked and just one lady escaped. She reached, and clung to, this rock, but before she could be rescued she died. The most westerly part of Land's End, Dr Syntax's Head, can be seen in the distance SW3425
