Coastal path to Molinginish
Coastal path to Molinginish
The low-level path from Rhenigidale to Molinginish comes with a health warning - avoid it after heavy rain or with ice and snow - because the path crosses one stream at a waterfall where the terrain can be slippery on the stream bed and on the muddy descent into the ravine. However our passage was straightforward after a good period of dry weather in the Hebrides. The path is not marked on Display Boards in the area though was used daily by school children pre-1918 who walked to Rhenigidale from Molinginish. I understand the North Harris Trust is considering making the footpath safer.
