House Martin (Delichon urbica)
House Martin (Delichon urbica)
During prolonged heavy rain, up to 29 House Martins and 40 Swallows were perched on electricity wires adjacent to the cottage. Upon opening an upstairs window to get a photograph, this little fella arrived and sat on the window ledge, underneath the open window. It happily sat there for five minutes, barely half a metre away.
