A few metres ahead takes you into County Donegal in the Irish Republic. At the height of the troubles, this would have been an unapproved crossing. Now you would not realise that you had travelled from one country to the other, except maybe for a difference in road sign markings and this memorial stone on the right G8955 : Memorial, Jimmy Dolan
