Litter in Glen Nevis
Litter in Glen Nevis
When will people realise banana skins are still litter? Although they will eventually decompose, at this altitude that will take much longer than the two to five months estimated in a garden compost heap. Furthermore banana skins are rich in potassium which will remain in the soil thereby altering the fragile ecosystem of the mountains.

Leave no trace.
