The Battle of Britain Memorial Wall, Capel-le-Ferne
The Christopher Foxley-Norris Memorial Wall was unveiled by HRH Prince Michael of Kent in July 2005. The wall is named in tribute to Air Chief Marshal Sir Christopher Foxley-Norris, a Hurricane fighter pilot in 1940. He was the first President of the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust. The wall lists the name of every pilot who flew during the Battle of Britain between 10th July 1940 and 31st October 1940. The bust in the foreground is to Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park.
