Grade II* listed Whitson Court
Whitson Court, in the north of the village of Whitson, was built in 1750 for the local High Sheriff and Member of Parliament, William Phillips. It was originally known as Whitson House, but was renamed Whitson Court c1900. It was grade II* listed in January 1963. For several years in the early 21st century, the building was unoccupied and on Newport City Council's Buildings at Risk register.
Renovation work was in progress at the date of this view taken in August 2011.
