The marsh orchids Dactylorhiza are notorious for their tendency to hybridise, especially in the Western Isles, but I would hazard a guess that this one, surround by Eyebright Euphrasia sp. and the seed pods of Yellow Rattle Rhinanthus minor, is probably purpurella x maculata.
