SK8004 : Launde Lower Reservoir

taken 7 years ago, near to Launde Abbey, Leicestershire, Great Britain

Launde Lower Reservoir
Launde Lower Reservoir
The lowest of a series of three small reservoirs below Launde Abbey. Apparently they were originally fishponds for the Abbey. They are now badly afffected by algae, probably due to the runoff from the Abbey's septic tank just above the top pond.
