The street, Village Bay, St Kilda
The street, Village Bay, St Kilda
The iconic scene of St Kilda, the houses were actually built in 1860 to replace traditional blackhouses which had been badly damaged, and the new houses were probably quite luxurious by the standards of the day; the street on St Kilda was also said to be the only street in the Outer Hebrides at the time.
