Evening 'rush hour' at Dalmeny Railway Station
Platform 2 was busy with commuter trains from Edinburgh to Fife in the early evening and a train has just departed towards the Forth Rail Bridge as a Class 37 diesel 37685 'Loch Arkaig', towing a disabled K4 Class locomotive 61994 'The Great Marquess', heads towards Craigentinny Traction Maintenance Depot, Edinburgh. The steam locomotive had no coupling rods on the driving wheels.
