Hillside above the Nant Tryfal
Hillside above the Nant Tryfal
The disused tips make their appearance over the brow. I wonder when the first bucket fell, and the last. I presume an aerial system dumped the mining waste up here, almost out of sight on the empty hillside. They speak volumes about the exploitation of the landscape of industrial South Wales, and the labour.
