SD7962 : Cocket Lane, Rathmell

taken 7 years ago, near to Wham, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Cocket Lane, Rathmell
Cocket Lane, Rathmell
This leads to Cocket Moss, and was probably used to drive farm animals onto the common pasture there. It is a public footpath, but there is a stream hidden amongst the rushes and grass. There are also patches of nettles and thistles to make walking the path quite an adventure. The northern wall (on the left) is the boundary between Giggleswick and Rathmell.
