Footpaths near Dry Rigg Quarry, Austwick
The green line across the field on the right is a footpath that slopes down to the Austwick Road. It originally crossed the quarried are on the left, but has been diverted around the south side of the big hole. The path dropping very steeply down from the viewpoint is a new path to a seat below Moughton Nab, from which one can look down on Dry Rigg Quarry. As this is 'access land' one can continue up from the seat to the top of the hill.
