Spillers Mill, part demolished, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Spillers Mill, part demolished, Newcastle Upon Tyne
This fabulous building was a flour mill from the 1930@s to 2007 and at the height of it's production employed 500 people and milled the flour for 1 in 10 of every loaf of bread baked in the UK. Apparently there was no future for the building and demolition started in June 2011. Once completed the site is then free for no doubt more hideous riverside apartments with teeny balconies and no soul
