St Nicholas church porch
St Nicholas church porch
The church of St Nicholas is largely hidden behind buildings in Market Place, from which the porch and a bit of the reduced tower can be seen.

The current church is the third on the site and dates from the latter part of the 14th century. The ornate porch has three figure niches of Our Lady and the infant Christ, St Nicholas and St Benedict. (Source: Church guide).
