TQ3280 : Dyers' Hall, College Street

taken 8 years ago, near to City of London, Great Britain

Dyers' Hall, College Street
Dyers' Hall, College Street
By the aptly-named Charles Dyer in 1839-41. Not at all large, but its facade punches above its weight with its central pilasters, arched windows, and frieze topped by urns. The colours are a delight, but are they original? Grade II* listed.
The building to the right is a later extension.
