Bournemouth: Central Gardens floodwater starts to recede
Looking across the Gardens from a similar vantage point to SZ0891 : Bournemouth: Town Hall and cenotaph.

Torrential rain this morning brought much flooding to Bournemouth town centre and, unsurprisingly, most of it ended up in the gardens through which the Bourne Stream trickles (in its normal state) down to the Pier Approach.

Believe it or not, the water had started receding quite substantially by the time I went out with the camera - the grass banks on both sides of the gardens were fully covered at this point.
