Bournemouth: greenness returns after the floods
Bournemouth: greenness returns after the floods
Torrential rain this morning brought much flooding to Bournemouth town centre and, unsurprisingly, most of it ended up in the gardens through which the Bourne Stream trickles (in its normal state) down to the Pier Approach.

Barely two hours later and the water has receded substantially and continues to do so. Half an hour ago I would not have been able to stand on this spot without getting my feet wet! The balloon has been well and truly grounded today.

This is a fairly similar viewpoint to SZ0891 : Bournemouth: the balloon and St. Andrew’s.
