Mousehole Harbour
Mousehole Harbour
This view is taken from Raginnis Hill. Mousehole was probably an older port than Penzance or Newlyn and back in the 13th Century it was the main fishing port in Mounts Bay, remaining so well into the 16th Century until the other two ports began to gain ascendancy. Nowadays a small fishing fleet is based here, along with a number of leisure craft.
