The walkway leads across the bog to the Afon Teifi river walk (closed to the public this summer 2011 to allow natural grazing maintenance).

This telephoto assisted view is looking west across the northern part of Tregaron Bog. See Rudi's January vision, with highly informative text: SN7064 : Solitary tree in Cors Caron Nature Reserve

Cors Caron is a raised bog through which the Afon Teifi meanders. The bog covers an area of approximately 862 acres (349 ha). It is the most intact surviving example of a raised bog landscape in the United Kingdom. Cors Caron began to be formed 12,000 years ago, at the end of the last glaciation period. Detailed but concise scientific details can read on the Wikipedia page, from which my information was sourced. LinkExternal link
