Wharf, Brickyard Plantation, Aston-on-Trent
This was probably a wharf, where formerly gypsum quarried in this wood was loaded into wagons, to be taken by tramway to a wharf on the Trent and Mersey canal for onward transport by boat. The tramway closed about 1925.
