A long way from home
This ex-Great Western Railway tank locomotive, emerging from the station yard at Leeming Bar on the Wensleydale Railway, is now used for relatively light passenger duties, having survived a hard life hauling coal in the South Wales Valleys. For a view of a locomotive of the same class carrying out the duties that it was designed for, see Ben Brooksbank's ST4286 : Ex-GWR South Wales main line at Magor, with Up coal train.
