Pier at Newport-on-Tay
This pier, built by Thomas Telford in 1823, was the southern terminal for the Tay ferries that sailed across from Dundee. The ferries ceased operating in August 1966 upon the opening of the Tay Road Bridge. The pier is now used for servicing and repairing small craft.
