Auchtertool Parish Church
Auchtertool Parish Church
The church sits on a small hill on the west side of the village. A church was first recorded on this site in 1178 and the present church was rebuilt in 1833. The current bell in the octagonal-shaped belfry was installed in 1887, replacing an older bell that is on display inside the church. This was viewed from a gate in the south wall of the churchyard.
