Bridge across the Tawe, Penycae
Bridge across the Tawe, Penycae
Pont Rhyd-arw carries a minor road across the River Tawe, to the east of the main road through the village (A4067, Brecon Road). Rhyd-arw is Welsh for 'rough ford' which presumably was the only way to cross the river before the bridge was built.
