Wheal Coates
A partially restored engine house at the disused mine of Wheal Coates. This is one of three engine houses pumping water from the 600 foot deep mine. To the left is another one of the mine buildings, the remains of the ore crushing plant I think. The site is owned by the National Trust and information boards explain the history of the tin mine, one of many in the St Agnes area.
