The afternoon steam excursion from Fort William to Mallaig leaves Banavie Station with ex-LMS Black Five locomotive 44871 in charge. A few minutes earlier the swing bridge had opened to permit the passage of a yacht along the Caledonian Canal. Ben Nevis dominates the skyline.
