Bonchester, Camden Park Road
Bonchester, Camden Park Road
House on Camden Park Road, part of the development of the road by William Willett (of daylight saving fame). Bonchester was designed by Ernest Newton and built in 1898. It is grade II listed - for listing particulars see LinkExternal link. From 1908 to 1922 it was home of Sir Malcolm Campbell, world water and land speed record holder - the blue plaque on the chimney breast commemorates this.
