Crathie Kirk (1), Crathie
Crathie Kirk (1), Crathie
The church is part of the Church of Scotland, and is quite well known for being the church used by the Royal Family, when they are residing at Balmoral Castle. As a result, it has often appeared on television. The church replaced an earlier one, which had been built here in 1804. The foundation stone of the present church was laid by Queen Victoria in 1893.
