TQ3580 : Scherzer rolling bridge, Surrey Dock entrance

taken 7 years ago, near to Stepney, Tower Hamlets, Great Britain

Scherzer rolling bridge, Surrey Dock entrance.
Scherzer rolling bridge, Surrey Dock entrance.
An electrically operated and now disused rolling bridge. It need never lift again as the Surrey Docks complex has been thoroughly in-filled; to the extent of actually creating a hill in place of one of the docks.
