Built in two stages in 1894 and 1913 for the Midland & Scottish Railway's City Goods Depot. It is to be demolished in the not too distant future, so it was important to get its photograph.
It was next to the Minorie Station of the London and Blackwall Railway. The L & B was an important early railway. George Stephenson was the engineer and the railway was initially cable hauled, opening in 1840. The formation is now used by the Docklands Light Railway.
