SN9925 : SW edge of Libanus

taken 13 years ago, near to Libanus, Powys, Wales

SW edge of Libanus
SW edge of Libanus
The A470 reaches the SW edge of the small village of Libanus, Powys. Libanus is Welsh for Lebanon, and also an old name for Mount Lebanon.
Amid several larger signs, the small black-on-white village name sign on the left can easily be missed by passing drivers. Surprisingly, the speed limit through the village is 50mph, not the expected 30mph.
