Ardrishaig sea lock
The start (or end) of the nine mile long Crinan Canal linking Loch Gilp to the Sound of Jurra.
Completed in 1801, it allowed boats to make a safe short cut avoiding having to navigate around the Mull of Kintyre.

The Crinan Canal for me
I don't like the wild raging sea
Them big foamin' breakers
Wad gie ye the shakers
The Crinan Canal for me.
