Molands Bridge (Old)
Molands Bridge (Old)
It is a two-arched skew bridge carrying the A452 northbound carriageway across the river Blythe between Meriden and Hampton in Arden. On the OS map of 1889-91 there is a structure called Mouldings Bridge (Mouldings Green Farm is nearby); by 1937 it is Molands Bridge: no explanation has been found to date. The A452 is shown dualled to north of the Blythe on OS 1970 and fully dualled on OS 1983. Photographed from Molands Bridge (New), which bears the southbound carriageway SP2282 : A452 Kenilworth Road crosses the river Blythe
