SE1186 : Pinkers Pond

taken 7 years ago, near to Coverham, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Pinkers Pond
Pinkers Pond
No risk of drowning on this occasion, for despite standing out in the area marked as water on the OS map, the pond was completely dry. Pinkers Pond is often dry through the summer months, presumably due to either a low water table, or natural seepage through the limestone rock.
