Holton Postmill

Holton Postmill is a preserved landmark in the Suffolk village of Holton. Sited high up in a private garden it is accessible (externally) to visitors via a footpath on Mill Drive. The building was built in 1749 by I. Swan and worked until 1900 before being gutted of machinery and turned into a summerhouse. Later being repaired by the council it is currently under lease (until 2016). Open days are held in May and August every year.
