Ice house, Crinan Ferry
Ice house, Crinan Ferry
The building bears the date 1833 and would have been used to store ice for the local salmon industry.
The building has been converted by Laird Henderson into a one-bedroom dwelling and was the subject of a fascinating edition of the Channel 4 television programme "The Restoration Man"

The other end of the building has a glass extension.
Note the wonderful garden fence.
Holes have been cut into the stone roof to allow light into the interior.
